Working Health Services Scotland was launched earlier this year and aims to improve health in the workplace and support individuals to remain in work or return to work in order to cut levels of absence and sick leave. Individuals can self-refer to the service or be referred by GP or employer. A case manager is assigned and after an assessment services such as physiotherapy, counselling and occupational therapy can be accessed. The service is staffed by experienced health care staff and is available to anyone working within a business with under 250 employees. The case managers for the service will be happy to visit any employer to have a chat and advise them further on how the service can benefit their employees.
If any employer wishes a visit or further posters, leaflets or business cards please contact Jean Blackwood Programme Director, 0141 847 8650.
