Help Your Business Save Money and the Environment

If you are interested in driving your costs down (and, let’s face it, who isn’t?) then there are several measures available to help your business save money and help the environment at the same time. The Energy Savings Trust in Scotland can help you reduce your business energy costs through providing interest free loans of £1,000 to £100,000 to increase business profitability and reduce environmental impact. The Energy Saving Scotland Small Business Loans Scheme provides loans to help Scottish businesses to invest in renewable energy technologies or install measures that reduce energy consumption.

If your organisation has more than 50 employees and/or 10,000 visitors per year then you may be entitled to free travel plan advice from an experienced consultant. For organisations with less than 50 employees and/or 10,000 visitors per year you can still get free advice over the phone.

If you operate a fleet of 20 or more cars or vans in Scotland under 3.5 tonnes then you would be eligible for a free green fleet review from the Energy Saving Trust in Scotland. Organisations with smaller fleets can benefit from free green fleet advice over the phone.
